1. Definitions and scope of offering

1.1 Customised services

Customised services entail all tailored professional solutions offered, at a fee, by Business Research Resolutions (Pty) Ltd. These fall into the following categories:

• Customised Research Solutions: Tailored research services including research consultation, online survey development, research proposal writing, quantitative data analysis, and market research.

• Customised Business Solutions: Tailored operational solutions including business consultation, website design, AI agent development, digital stationery design, and process optimisation.

• Customised Empowerment Solutions: Tailored capacity-building solutions including workshop development, facilitation, and skill development sessions. 

Business Research Resolutions (Pty) Ltd reserves the exclusive right to render customised services at no fee (e.g., to registered non-profit organisations) where deemed appropriate.

1.2 Customised products

Customised products entail digital analytical products offered by Business Research Resolutions (Pty) Ltd:

• "I Am" Survey: Promoted at https://www.businessresolution.co.za/free-resources. Generates a free demo report sent to the user's provided email address. The full custom report (approximately 17 pages) is unlocked upon voluntary payment of the required fee as indicated on the demo report.

• "Strengths" Survey & Resources: Free educational or diagnostic products (e.g., "Strengths" Survey, Teacher Prompting Cheat Sheet) provided at no cost.
  
  

2. Terms for Fee-Based Services & Products

2.1 Customised Services (Consulting & Projects)

•  Quotes & Deposits: Clients must confirm acceptance of a quote in writing. Confirmation is represented by paying a deposit (ranging between 20% and 75%), as indicated on the issued quote. Issued quotes are valid for seven (7) calendar days. Work commences once the deposit is received.

• Final Delivery & Outstanding Balance: Upon project completion, a draft output is shared via a secure view-only link for client approval. Approval is confirmed in writing, after which a final invoice for the remaining balance is issued. Formal ownership and final deliverable files are released upon receipt of full outstanding payment.

2.2 Customised Products ("I Am" Survey)

• Data Processing: Due to the automated and personalized nature of custom analytical products, processing of submitted survey input begins immediately upon receipt of a submission. 

• Report Delivery: Upon payment and submission of proof of payment (using the Unique Report Key as a reference), the full report is generated and dispatched to the provided email address within 48 business hours. 

2.3 Intellectual Property Rights for Non-Fee Items

Where Business Research Resolutions (Pty) Ltd renders services or provides products without charging a fee, all underlying intellectual property rights reside and remain exclusively with Business Research Resolutions (Pty) Ltd.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the bespoke, immediate, and digital nature of customized reports and tailored consulting services, payments made are generally non-refundable once work has commenced or a report has been generated.

3.1 Applicable Exceptions

In compliance with applicable South African consumer laws, refunds or order re-issues will be processed under the following circumstances: 

• Technical Errors & Non-Delivery: If you do not receive your report within the stated 48 business hours following valid proof of payment, or if you receive a corrupt/incorrect report file, contact info@businessresolution.co.za. We will re-issue the correct report immediately. If we are unable to fulfill your order due to technical issues on our end, a full refund will be issued.

• Duplicate Payments: If a customer is charged twice for the same transaction/report key due to a payment gateway error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
  
  

4. Merchant Disclosures & Legal Compliance

• Country of Domicile & Currency: Business Research Resolutions (Pty) Ltd is a registered private company in South Africa. All transactions on this site are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).

• Payment Security: Online payments are processed via Payfast (Pty) Ltd, an approved payment gateway for South African acquiring banks. Customer card details are entered on Payfast’s secure encrypted server and are never stored on our website. 

• POPIA Compliance: All personal data collected during surveys or transactions is handled strictly in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) No. 4 of 2013 and ethical research standards. Customer details are stored separately from financial payment data.
